Nef The Pharoah’s “Bussin” is made for club bopping and dancing #Detroit

You’d be forgiven if you’ve never heard of Nef The Pharaoah. Besides being one of Thizzler’s 2014 Freshman class, frequently collaborating with E-40, and having one of his songs remixed by YG and Ty Dolla $ign, his name hasn’t yet translated to mainstream success. What the hold up is, no one’s quite sure. But he’s been working hard to establish his name and brand, and, little by little, it’s growing.

That should change with the release of “Bussin,” a relatively simple, bouncy single that revels in its jovial nature to bring a good time. Perhaps the fact that it’s straight-forward when most songs have a number of hidden meanings makes it one of our favorites that we’ve heard recently. The production by SuperProducerMA practically pulls you onto the dance floor at your local nightclub. The verses from Nef are clean and tight enough to listen to, but they don’t require laser focus to their meanings. It’s literally tailor-made for the club in every way fit. And for that, we love it.
